98%

Success Rate — Guaranteed

Every DFI procedure at Eternal Hair carries a full success guarantee. Our 98%+ graft viability rate is the result of proprietary technique, precision tooling, and expert medical staff.

The DFI Method

How Does DFI Work?

Follicles harvested one by one with a <1mm tool — no scalpels, no skin strips. Each graft stored immediately in hypothermosol solution at 40°C. Dr. Tawfik implants each follicle using the DFI Lions Implanter — controlling exact angle, depth, and direction.

Why DFI

DFI vs. Traditional Strip (FUT)

DFI at Eternal Hair

  • Individual follicle extraction — no skin strip
  • No scalpels, no stitches, no linear scar
  • Proprietary <1mm implanter tool
  • Grafts stored in hypothermosol solution
  • Precise angle, depth and direction control
  • 98% graft viability rate
  • Results visible 8–12 months

Traditional FUT (Strip)

  • Strip of scalp skin removed with scalpel
  • Requires stitches — leaves a linear scar
  • Limited by strip size and donor scarring
  • Higher follicle trauma during harvesting
  • Less control over implantation angle
  • Longer recovery period
  • Scar visible with short haircuts
What to Expect

Your DFI Results Timeline

1

Procedure Day

Extraction, conservation in hypothermosol, implantation. Anesthesia keeps you comfortable throughout.

2

2–6 Weeks

Normal shedding phase — transplanted hairs fall out before entering the growth phase. This is expected.

3

8–12 Months

Significant visible regrowth. Most patients are thrilled with results at this stage.

4

12–18 Months

Full, optimal density achieved. Results are permanent — transplanted follicles are genetically resistant to DHT.

Meet The Team

Meet Our Medical Directors

Every patient at Eternal Hair & Esthetics is treated by a physician-led team. Our medical directors lead two specialist divisions, hair restoration and esthetics, and review every plan personally.

Dr. Tamir Tawfik, MD, Medical Director of Hair Restoration

Dr. Tawfik leads our hair restoration division, specializing in advanced minimally invasive techniques like DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) and DFI (Direct Follicle Implantation) for results that look natural and blend seamlessly with each patient’s features.

Every plan is tailored to the individual, because hair restoration is as much about restoring confidence and sense of self as it is about hair.

Dr. Bader Elder, DO, Medical Director of Esthetics

Dr. Elder leads our esthetic division with deep experience in Botox, dermal fillers, and skin rejuvenation, combining precision and artistry to enhance each patient’s natural beauty.

His patient-first philosophy puts the client’s goals at the center of every treatment, so the result is feeling more confident in your own skin, not someone else’s.

Frequently Asked

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes DFI different from standard FUE?
Standard FUE extracts follicles and implants separately with forceps. DFI uses a proprietary pen-like implanter controlling exact angle, depth, and direction — this reduces follicle trauma and produces a more natural result.
What is the 98% success guarantee?
The 98% success rate reflects the percentage of transplanted follicles that successfully establish and grow. It is backed by our proprietary technique, graft conservation in hypothermosol, and Dr. Tawfik’s expertise. If results fall below expectations, corrective options are discussed at no additional charge.
Is the shedding phase normal?
Yes — shedding 2–6 weeks post-procedure is completely normal and expected. Transplanted hairs enter a resting phase before new growth begins. It is not a sign the transplant has failed.
How long does the procedure take?
Procedure duration depends on the number of grafts. Most sessions run 4–8 hours. Entertainment systems are available, and a complimentary lunch is provided during the extraction phase.
